Surf Spots

You may not think of the Sooke area as a surf spot but just up the road from Sooke is Jordan River. Founded as and still officially gazetteted as River Jordan, is a small settlement on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, located approximately seventy kilometres (forty-three miles) west of Victoria. This area is known to locals and visitors as the best surf spot on the Southwest side of Vancouver Island.
